Material Specification and Features:
Bottle Shape: Direct access to internal part helping easy maintenance and repair which is negligible. Special composition of raw materials in making FRP cooling towers are selected to withstand corrosion, resistant to water borne bacteria and organism as well as to most of the chemicals. It is light in weight which permits roof installation without special reinforcement of any kind. Vertical induced draft counter flow design permits installation in any direction with ease. Consumes less power (energy) overall because of less air resistance to water theory saving in operational costs. Available in various colours matching to exterior architectural beauty. A direct driven axial fan ensures the system is free from problems faced with belt and gear-drives.
Casing: Casing is made of selected grade material of tough Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester and resins, etc. Additional embossing is done for extra strength in case of big cooling towers.
Fill: Our Honeycomb type PVC fills are used for extended contact area having a high heat transfer efficiency. The crossing of air and water streams in close proximity, which creates a difficiency. Water Basin: Water Basin is completely leak proof, which avoids spillage and seepage of water. It is of deep sump to ensure maximum water level at all times and made of FRP with additional stiffeners to take care of weight or extra water.
Sprinkler: Our specially designed rotary sprinkler head is made of Aluminum alloy to avoid corrosion, also fitted with sealed ball bearings to take care of thrust and redial loads. It rotates at 5 to 7 RPM by the reaction force from the circulating water that is discharged at low pressure out of holes along PVC pipes screwed in to a rotating head. Fan: Fan is of aerodynamic designed axial flow type to achieve high efficiency. It is made of adjustable FRP/ALUMINIUM alloy blades that ensure large airflow at low static pressure, low noise level and also corrosion free. Adjusting pitch angle of the fan blades can change fan power consumption.
Drift Eliminator: To reduce carry out losses of moisture drops in the air stream by specially designed multi blade rotary drift eliminator made by FRP/PVC sheets is provided. Motor: Special, low RPM totally enclosed motors of vertical, flange type with enlarged and threaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is totally weather proof in IP 55 construction suitable for heated and humid atmosphere. Supports and Hardware: All components like tower supports, motor supports, leg supports, etc., are either hot dip galvanized or epoxy coated. Hardware is galvanized steel. Stainless steel of PP hardware can be supplied on request extra costs.
